While we are unsure of the specific chemical you are using, our HDPE insulated tub is resistant to Division 5.1 materials like ammonium nitrate at +20°C, but only partially resistant at +50°C. These ratings apply to saturated or 10% concentrations. HDPE is suitable for storing saturated calcium hypochlorite. However, Division 5.1 materials such as bromine trifluoride are not suitable for storage in HDPE containers.
